Earlier this week, Tennessee announced that a quarter of players, including a wide receiver, had been suspended for today’s game against Kentucky. Now, another young member of the Vols’ receiving corps will be unavailable, albeit for an entirely different reason.
According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, receiver Vincent Dallas will not play against UK today due to injury. The true freshman broke his hand during practice on Thursday, the paper reports.
Should UT become bowl eligible by winning today, it’s unclear whether Dallas would be available for the postseason action.
Dallas has three receptions for 37 yards on the season, with those stats coming in the past couple of games.
