Vols WR a no-go with a bro­ken hand

Ear­lier this week, Ten­nessee announced that a quar­ter of play­ers, includ­ing a wide receiver, had been sus­pended for today’s game against Ken­tucky. Now, another young mem­ber of the Vols’ receiv­ing corps will be unavail­able, albeit for an entirely dif­fer­ent reason.

Accord­ing to the Knoxville News Sen­tinel, receiver Vin­cent Dal­las will not play against UK today due to injury. The true fresh­man broke his hand dur­ing prac­tice on Thurs­day, the paper reports.

Should UT become bowl eli­gi­ble by win­ning today, it’s unclear whether Dal­las would be avail­able for the post­sea­son action.

Dal­las has three recep­tions for 37 yards on the sea­son, with those stats com­ing in the past cou­ple of games.
