Tide LB Mosley, Gators S Saunders Out

GAINESVILLE, Fla. —Alabama and Florida have defen­sive changes.

The No. 3 Crim­son Tide are with­out line­backer C.J. Mosley, who sus­tained an elbow injury last week against Arkansas. Mosley, who returned an inter­cep­tion for a touch­down last year against Florida, missed prac­tice this week and had been ques­tion­able for Sat­ur­day night’s game. Nico John­son started in his place.

Alabama run­ning back Eddie Lacy is avail­able despite being lim­ited in prac­tice with a foot injury.

The 12th-ranked Gators are with­out safety De’Ante “Pop” Saun­ders. Team offi­cials say coach Will Muschamp will address Saun­ders’ absence after the game. Josh Evans started in his place.

Florida had defen­sive line­men Dominique Easley and Shar­rif Floyd in the start­ing lineup. They were report­edly injured in prac­tice Tuesday.
