NCAA Basketball Betting: Wisconsin Downs Penn State, Fails to Cover Spread
Keaton Nankivil scored on 5-for-5 from 3-point range to spark the No. 10 Wisconsin Badgers’ 76–66 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions on Sunday.
Drawing nearly 60% of the NCAA basketball betting action, the Wisconsin Badgers were the clear favorites against Penn State among LinesMaker bettors. With the college basketball lines at –11.5, the Badgers failed to delight the majority of bettors despite winning over the Nittany Lions, as they did not cover the point spread.
Nankivil scored 22 points while 8-of-9 shooting overall for Wisconsin (20–6, 10–4 Big Ten). Jon Leuer added 22 points and hauled in 10 rebounds with three assists for the Badgers, who won their 18th game in a row on the home turf.
Jordan Taylor pumped in 13 points and seven assists for Wisconsin, which defeated the Nittany Lions for the 15th time in a row. Josh Gasser contributed 11 points and five assists in the win.
Talor Battle chipped in with 23 points for Penn State, which lost their eighth consecutive game on road. Jeff Brooks contributed 16 points for the Nittany Lions (14–12, 7–8).
