In the second round of the N.I.T. Season Tip-Off in Storrs, home team Connecticut secured a 76 – 67 victory over Hofstra on Tuesday. In the second game of the showcase top-ranked Kansas struggled to fight off an upset bid by Memphis. Kansas took the victory with in a slim 57–55 edge in scoring. Arkansas meets Mississippi St on Saturday.
