Since 1956, the Vandal Stakes is held in mid October every year at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario. A Canadian Thoroughbred sprint race it is open to two-year-old horses and is contested on Polytrack synthetic dirt. The race is run over a distance of 6 furlongs and carries a purse of $150,000.
The Vandal Stakes was run in two divisions in 1961. It was hosted by Fort Erie Racetrack from 1970 through 1985.
