Katarzyna Skowronska

Born on June 30, 1983, Katarzyna Skowrońska is an international Polish volleyball player. She was the best scorer on last World Cup in 2007, and she is recognized by many as the best spiker in the world.
Skowrońska was born in Warsaw and after watching her brother became interested in volleyball in her early teens. She moved up quickly through the junior ranks at her club and soon made the Polish national team. She helped her team take home the European Championship Gold Medal in 2003 and 2005.
